Navigating the Incident Map

Who this is for:

Dispatchers, Dispatch Managers, Supervisors

Prerequisites:

  • Logged into Ambulensi

  • Dispatcher or Admin role

Overview

The Incident Map provides a real-time view of emergencies and ambulance movements using Google Maps API.

Key Features

  • Live incident pins

  • Real-time ambulance GPS icons

  • Dynamic routing

  • ETA calculations

  • Road network overlays

  • Colour-coded unit statuses

Steps to Use the Incident Map

  1. From the left menu, click Incident Map.

  2. Hover over any icon to view details.

  3. Click an incident pin to open the Incident Block.

  4. Click an ambulance icon to view its status and crew.

Troubleshooting

  • Map not loading → check internet connection.

  • Ambulance not moving → GPS device may be offline.

When to Raise a Ticket

  • Blank map area

  • Persistent GPS delays >10 minutes
