How to Place an Incident On Hold

Who this is for:

Dispatchers

Prerequisites:

Active incident.

Reasons to Place on Hold

  • Insufficient information

  • No available ambulances

  • Caller temporarily unreachable

Steps

  1. Open Incident Block.

  2. Click On Hold.

  3. Add note explaining reason.

Troubleshooting

  • Cannot exit On Hold status → update must be done manually.
