How to Close an Incident

Who this is for:

Dispatchers, EMTs

Prerequisites:

  • Patient care completed

  • Arrival at health facility logged

Steps

  1. EMT submits Patient Care Report (PCR).

  2. Dispatcher reviews the incident.

  3. Click Close Case.

Troubleshooting

  • Case not closing → missing PCR.

  • Duplicate Patient Care Records appearing

    • Consider merging records.

    • Ensure consistent naming conventions.
